Here we have Amanda swinging on the little one-chain swing that used to be in our back yard, back when the tree it's attached to was still standing. Some of you may remember that Mom and the Muffins were rather upset when the tree was removed last fall. Now, however, it's time to reevaluate. One year to the day that the picture above was taken, this was the scene in our back yard:
That big ol' tree branch there fell down in a very special spot: right where this swing set used to be!
Considering how much the Muffins play on the swing set, Mom and Dad are VERY glad that the swing set was well out of the way of those branches when they decided to fall. We may have lost a tree, but now we not only have more swings, but also more peace of mind.
