Our food adventures began with this discovery:
Then came Grandfather's "crazy cookies," made with corn chips in a peanut butter glaze:
The trip to Indiana included a stop at Fazoli's:
We also got some yummy pizza during that vacation:
Back at home, we made crazy cookies on our own. When we ran out of corn chips, we put the glaze on some Cheerios. It tasted just like honey nut Cheerios.
Mom experimented with chocolate pudding from scratch:
We also made Jello jigglers, both Minion shaped and regular:
Our most exotic food adventure was trying candies that Dad brought back from his trip to Sweden:

Indiana Adventure August 2015
It all started out with a nice, normal playground stop:
We even made a stop for Slush Puppies at the mall:
Fairly normal day, except that the stops were in Pennsylvania. We went all the way across the state and spent the night just over the border. Here's Clarissa cozy in a bed in Ohio:
And why, you might ask, were we crossing Pennsylvania and sleeping in Ohio? Why, to visit Grandmother and Grandfather, of course!
Grandmother and Grandfather chose a hotel very carefully, making sure there were playgrounds in the area for energetic Muffins. We started off the next day with breakfast at a park with a playground (which the kids largely ignored in favor of food, a caterpillar, and walkie-talkies):
We made our way across Ohio, with a grandparent in each car in our little caravan. We stopped for lunch at White Castle, where Grandfather finally got his "Crave Case" of hamburgers that had intrigued him for so long; more than enough to feed our small army. Clarissa liked the little boxes the burgers came in. We also enjoyed being in a part of the country with cheaper gas.
Once we crossed Ohio, we continued on to one of the kids' favorite places: Aunt Ree's house in Indiana, beloved from our time there at Christmas 2014. Here are some Muffins enjoying the outdoor amenities there:
The next day, Grandmother and Grandfather went with us to the Indianapolis Indiana LDS Temple for a tour during the open house, before the temple was dedicated. Interestingly enough, Grandmother and Grandfather met our friends who hosted us for the chocolate festival on one of their earlier times touring the temple.
Next stop, a tour of a house . . . with a playground nearby!
After that, it was time for mini golf:
Then it was time for "crazy cookies" at Aunt Ree's house, made by Grandfather:
Then it was time to start making our way home. We made sure to stop at Fazoli's for lunch while we were in the territory, and we also stopped by the Columbus Ohio LDS Temple just long enough to get a quick picture of Clarissa by it (to go with pictures of the other Muffins there):
We got to visit one more playground, in Ohio:
And then it was really time to go home, by way of Pennsylvania scenery:
