Once upon a time, there was a little girl who wanted a pet. That pet wish turned into several fish and hamsters over the past three years. Today the little girl and her brothers are sad because the last of this era's pets left us for his new home. Coal the black moor goldfish was with us since fall 2008. We're looking forward to visiting him in his new home sometime before we go to our new home.
(Lest you think today is all gloom, though, keep in mind that the friends who took Coal also surprised us with lunch and a play date. Also, sorry, Coal, that we don't have a better picture of you; photographing fish makes photographing kids seem really easy.)
I still feel bad for leaving while Amanda was in tears. :( tell Amanda that coal is very happy and all set up in his new home in noahs bedroom. :) We promise to take good care of him! And tell her to call Noah whenever she wants to come see him before u guys leave in a few weeks. Thanks for the play date. One of the last ones we will get with you guys. :(
