Monday morning, 4 Jan 2010, we returned to our regular routine of Dad in school and Mr. B joining us during the day. It was Mr. B's first time back with us since Christmas, he and his family having taken a vacation. So, as far as our kids were concerned, it was Christmas all over again, since Mr. B brought much of his loot with him, including many of the big robotic toys that Mom and Dad are too cheap and too practical to buy. Great morning for the kids, to say the least. But it wasn't over yet...
Grandma and Grandpa had planned to visit over the holidays but were snowed out. So, they mailed the presents they'd planned to bring with them. And, what do you know, they arrived on that same Monday, just in time to fill in after Mr. B's loot started loosing its novelty. All the kids unwrapped presents and had a great time. So, thanks to Mr. B's family and to Grandma and Grandpa for stretching out the holidays for us.
Now, the question is, is this considered a second half of Christmas 2009? Or is it just a really really REALLY early installment of Christmas 2010?
