Ode to snow season 2012-2013

Now that Mom's "it always snows here in April" line has been proven once again for the 2012-2013 snow season, it's only fitting that we finally get around to sharing some of the snowy adventures that have been hiding on a memory card since the beginning of the season.

It's a little hard to see with the white-on-white, but this picture shows a snowman Amanda made all by herself after a November snow.

And here we have a snow fort, kid built:

But what good is a snow fort without a rival fort to war with? Here's Dad helping with the second fort:

Here's Curtis loving the snow and modeling the see-through "mittens" he got for himself for the occasion.

Mom had to put the camera away at that point, since there was a bit too much snow flying through the air for the camera's good. Putting the camera away also gave Mom a chance to grab mittens before joining the fray.
