An outing in the park

To cross, or not to cross?

2 bro's hangin' out on the swings

When one has four children in tow aged four and under, one is likely to consider an outing to the park as a monumental event. Or at least that's the way Mom felt about it when she actually got out the door to the park outing only an hour after it started. :) There were still plenty of friends there when we arrived, though, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it.

Some fun pics from 10 Aug 2009

See Amanda in the picture above? That's right, she's the blur. She announced that she wanted to go out to do some exercise, and once she was out, she started running laps around our place. Thought it might be fun to catch her in action.

This afternoon Jared decided that it was his turn to sit in Curtis's seat. Amanda decided she needed to be in the picture, too, when she saw me getting out the camera. In the picture below, you can see Jared's crocs, which are one of his favorite pairs of shoes ever.

So, where was Curtis while Jared was taking his chair? Why, trying out his new play mat, of course, courtesy of some kind friends. I think he likes it, don't you?

Two kids and a ?

Amanda and Jared are interested in the TV. Curtis is pondering the deeper meaning behind Amanda's face paint. Either that or just wondering what on earth happened to his sister. Mom meanwhile is seizing an opportunity to photograph all three holding still together.

Dad time

What can I say? The kids love their Dad. And that's a good thing. Especially since he loves them, too.

Felix at our place

One of my friends who happens to be a near neighbor posted about Felix the bunny who visits their yard and haunts her garden (with good reason, too, she has an amazing vegetable garden). I think he or one of his relatives may have come to visit us the other day. He was in our yard when I spotted him, but by the time I caught up with him sitting still again he'd made it to the other yard. Our mini woods make a nice natural picture frame though, don't you think?
